Analyst IDC evaluated KYOCERA MITA´s ECOSYS concept in a recent white paper (10/2007):
"When we look at and consider KYOCERA's environmental credentials there are a number of the vendor's actions that particularly stand out as areas where sound practice has been pursued and implemented. This relates particularly strongly to KYOCERA's product technology, which coupled to its ECOSYS concept forms the key constituents of the vendor's environmental proposition, and is also an important differentiator when comparing its printing devices to competitor offerings. It should also be noted that this particular concept and product range (the ECOSYS sub-brand) has now been on the market for over 15 years, IDC believes that this fact further demonstrates KYOCERA's ongoing and proactive approach to developing products of a sustainable nature."
